US BELT AND PUPPY PAW BUCKLE

There is a leather loop but it is not seen to the belt. The leather is strong and has no breaks or weak spots.
The buckle is stamped brass and lead filled. It has the oval studs that fit into two slots on the belt. This type of back, offer called PUPPY PAW was used prewar and early into the war. They were replaced by the arrow back buckle.
