US Artillery Fuse Pouch

This Artillery Fuse Pouch is a solid example.  The leather is solid and has a US marked on the flap.  These were worn on a belt.  The artillerist would carry fuses and friction primers and tools in the pouch.  One side of the pouch is tight and the other has a glued repair.   The leather is smooth and has a pleasing russet color.  There is not a marker mark on the box.
