FORAGE HAT

SOLD.    This Forage hat is the typical issue hat for the enlisted soldiers.  It has a blue wool body and leather bill.  The lining is intact along with the sweatband. There is no label on the inside.  It is missing the chinstrap and side buttons.  This cap has four holes in the crown for the insigina.  Probably it was artillery, the infantry bugle had two wires and I believe the crossed sabers had two as well. The rear seam has some hand sewing as well.  There is almost no mothing on the hat and it quite well.     Sold
