CS CAP POUCH - LEAD FINIAL - GETTYSBURG

CS Cap Pouch

This cap pouch has two waist belt loops that are crudely attached.  The finial is lead.  There is no inner flap and it looks to have been made that way.  The latch tab is missing.  The condition of the leather suggests it sat out in the weather for some days.  This looks to have been an early battlefield pickup.  Attached to the box is an old tag saying "CS Cap Pouch Gettysburg 5.00".  The price is about what they we selling for during the centennial.   Wish there was more information on the tag.
