    Cook and Brother Saber Bayonet

    This saber bayonet was made by the Cook and Brother operation in Georgia.  The bayonet is in very nice condition, especially for a Confederate bayonet.  It is complete with the locking spring and the metal button.  The button and spring function.  The blade is full length with a nice grey patina and only a few small areas of light pitting.  There are some sharpening marks,

    This bayonet has the triangular slot for one of the Cook clamp lug adaptors.  There are no markings on it.
