Bacon & Co Ring Trigger single shot Pistol.

This pistol is single shot and has a ring trigger and no triggerguard.  The hammer has only full cock.  The metal is smooth with much bluing remaining on the barrel.  The hammer has case colors.  The action functions well.  The barrel is marked "BACON & CO" " NORWICH CT"  and "CAST STEEL"   These pistols were made from 1852 until 1858 with a production around 400 pistols.  They were made in 31 and 36 caliber.  This one is 36 cal.
