1855 Harpers Ferry Rifle Bayonet

1855 Rifle Saber Bayonet with scabbard

This saber bayonet is for the 1855 rifle.  It has the curved blade.  The metal has some grey patina and areas with light pitting and staining.  It is full length.  There is no US at the base of the blade.  There are inspectors initials on the top of the handle.  Also a rack number is stamped there as well.  The scabbard is complete and the leather is sound and stiff.
