1816 FENCING BAYONET SOCKET

This is a 1816 fencing bayonet socket.  These were used with a whalebone insert to make bayonet training to be safer.  These were made from existing 1816 bayonets and this one is an arsenal produce with the alpha-numeric code above the socket.  Also there is a a lot of browning remaining.
