1 New YORK SOLDIER AMBROTYPE

State of New York Soldier. SOLD

This soldier wears a classic Nw York state issue jacket.  It is a short jacket with 9 buttons, shoulder tabs and piping trim.  This is a great image showing the characteristics of the jacket.  Note the external pocket.  He sits with an iterating expression and a cap.  

The ruby ambrotype is 1/6 plate and comes in a leatherette case with a repaired spine
