US Sword Manual

This book was printed in 1863 and is titled .." Sword Play"...  and is based on fencing.  The book has the original covers and the binding is tight.  The plates show basics of sword instruction.  There is a period ID written in ink in at least two places in the book.  It is hard to make out the name but it looks like "Capt. Ca???  manual    Battery B    R I Light Art"
