US Buff Frog Bayonet Scabbard.  SOLD

This is the 8 Rivet pattern and it is near mint.  The leather is strong, solid and stiff.  There is just a little scuffing on the finish of the body.  The scabbard is tight and complete with no seam splitting.  The brass tip is tight.  There is a circle of an inspectors merk on the frog but marking the buff leather is often not very successful.  This is a great example of a basic accroutrement.
