Penn Soldier CDV

This is a CDV with a Backmark from a Penn Photographer and a Tax Stamp.

The subject is a standing man in uniform.  He wears a light colored jacket with cuff and collar trim.  He holds an unusual hat in his hand and wears pants that look to be wide wale corduroy.  It is an unusual image and that is what caught my eye.  Not sure if he is a state soldier.  It is a nice looking jacket and it may be possible to determine what unit from the jacket.  

The condition of the CDV is nice but as you can see the corners were clipped.
