New York Soldier with an 1855

This quarter plate tintype is of a soldier wearing a NY state issue uniform.  It is a full standing pose of a soldier in uniform with a cap and 1855 rifle musket at parade rest.

The lock is turned toward the camera.  This 1855 is the first patter with the long range rear sight.
