CS Tin Drum Canteen

This tin drum canteen has a thin cloth covering and part of the original woven cloth sling.  The cloth cover has some missing spots and they have been missing a while as the tin patina is visible.  The cover also has a painted number on both sides.  The first number is a 2 and the second number is more worn though it could be a 5 or perhaps a 6.  The woven strap looks to have been cut and one wonders the circumstances how that occured.  The tin spout is still in place and the canteen itself is solid.
