Confederate Ambrotype

1/9 Plate Ambrotype of Confederate Soldier. SOLD

This Johnny Reb is seated in a chair and wearing a jacket with dark collar trim.  He wears a jacket with collar trim only - and it looks like it has 6 buttons.  He has one hand on the edge of his jacket and wears a vest as well.  The focus is very good and the exposure is nice.  He has a compelling look about him.  The glass has dark paint on the back of the ambrotype and has a few scratches.  The case has a repaired hinge.  

He is a nice example of a son of the south.  SOLD
