COLT 1861 NAVY

This Colt 1861 Navy is a nice tight gun.  Colt produced 38,000 of these, with 4600 being produced in the first year of production 1861. The serial number is 1452 which places it early in 1861.  The metal is a smooth grey patina. The action is good and there is plenty of cylinder scene remaining.   While there is no finish left this is a strong example of a hard to find Colt and is early war as well.  SOLD
