COLT 1849 Pocket Hartford - 6 " Barrel

Colt 1849 Pocket Model Pistol  SOLD

6" Barrel with Hartford Address.

This Colt pocket was made in 1861 and has the 2 line Hartford Address on the barrel.  Made at the start of the Civil War.  The metal has a grey patina with small amounts of light pitting.  The action is good and the cylinder scene is strong.  The serial numbers match including the wedge.  The grips are nice with a lot of varnish remaining.
