COLT 1849 POCKET HARTFORD - 5 " Barrel

Colt 1849 Pocket  SOLD

This Colt 1849 pocket was produced in 1861 and has the 2 line Hartford address.  The barrel is 5 inch in length.  The serial number matches including the wedge.  The markings are sharp and clear.  The metal has a brown patina.  The cylinder scene is sharp and clear about 80% or more.  The action is strong.  Most of the silver remains on the trigger guard with about half remaining on the backstrap.  The wood grips have most of their varnish.
