Confederate Cap Pouch

This is a pretty little Confederate cap pouch.  It is smaller than the typical size and has been suggested to me that is a pistol cap pouch.  It is a great example with a single wide belt loop and a lead finial.  It has the integral latch tab that is cut differently than the Federal version.  The stitching is all solid and the leather is strong and nice.  There is an incised line around the flap.  In the picture of the inside you can see how the finial is just peened over - without a washer.  I have seen this on several CS cap pouches.
