1860 Spencer Carbine
This is an example of one of the most successful carbines of the civil war. This example is complete and in original civil war configuration. It is complete with the original rear sight and the magazine tube. The metal is a pleasing grey metal color with scattered areas of light pitting. The wood is solid and has strong cartouches. There are no cracks in the buttstock along the magazine tube. The serial number is in the 16000 range which is early. The action works well.
