D Guard Knife

This D Guard knife is solidly made with a wide iron guard.  The grip has been wrapped with cord, which often indicates naval usage.  The blade and guard are stout heavy construction.  The fit is solid, there is no wiggle anywhere in the knife.  The metal has a deep brown patina.  The blade is just under 14" long and 2" wide at the base.  The grip is 5 1/8" long and the guard is 1" wide.  There is a nice tapered curl at the top of the guard.
