This 1750 fusil is an interesting piece.  It dates to 1750 or earlier and is original flint.  The barrel is 34" long and has a flare at the muzzle.  And at the mouth of the flare it is 100 caliber.  The bore further down is probably 85-90 caliber.  It has presence.  Whoever made this put a lot of work into it.  There is relief carving at the barrel tang that is quite nice.  There is wire work on the flat opposite the lock.  The barrel has early london proofs.
